Together in cross-functional product squads, we build and evolve our camping platform to enable an outstanding booking experience — where your engineering decisions directly shape how thousands of travelers discover their next adventure.

What you can expect

• To deliver high-quality, user-focused frontend experiences, you build complex UI features in React & Next.js, develop component-based UI systems and optimize UX together with our Product Managers and Designers.

• To build and maintain backend-for-frontend GraphQL services, you develop and maintain Apollo GraphQL resolvers and server logic, integrate internal and external APIs and data sources, and handle authentication, caching, and schema evolution.

• To improve platform performance, reliability, and scalability, you will optimize rendering, loading times, and data fetching, monitor and address performance bottlenecks and errors, and implement automated testing while continuously improving our CI/CD pipelines.

• To ensure clean code, maintainability, and technical excellence, you write well-structured, tested, and documented code, and conduct code reviews.

• You will collaborate closely with Product Designers, Engineers and other stakeholders within cross-functional product squads, you will actively participate in sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives and you can support and mentor other developers.

• You can contribute to tech decisions, architecture, and best practices by evaluating tools, frameworks, and technical options, by guiding migration paths and architectural improvements, and by defining and evolving our engineering processes and standards.

• You can optionally support integration with Python-based backend services and data systems.

• 5+ years experience in modern web engineering with proven delivery at scale.

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• Advanced React & Next.js engineering skills and understanding of topics like SSR, SSG, RSC and hooks.

• Knowledge on GraphQL preferably in the Apollo GraphQL ecosystem.

• Collaborative & proactive communication in cross-functional teams.
